The dashAlpha d500R is an intelligent, portable and battery-operated communications solution. Powered by UniVirtua’s dashAlpha software defined networking platform, the d500R enables the user to unleash the potential of bonded communications in any zero- or near-zero infrastructure environment.

The d500R supports up to four on-board 5G or LTE modems, along with multiple Ethernet ports supporting satellite and MANET networks as well as point-to-point optical and radio communications, with the bonded connections secured with AES-256 packet encryption and 521-bit ECC certificate authentication. End user devices are supported via dual onboard Wi-Fi access points, while the Ethernet ports can be configured to support both Li-Fi access points and higher capacity Wi-Fi access points via PoE+.

The unit supports RED/BLACK network separation via integration with Inline Network Encryptors supporting NCSC Recommended Profile or higher, providing an assured data path between field operators and headquarters, while the hot-swappable batteries provide up to 14 hours of continuous operation.

Finally, the d500R is backed by a cloud network offering Connectivity-as-a-Service (CaaS) via the provision of bonded gateways, monitored & managed by UniVirtua’s secure NOC.
