dashAlpha presented to Key Maritime Innovators
UniVirtua proudly joined visionary industry leaders at Maritime Innovation Week 2025, a pivotal gathering to shape the next era of maritime innovation through cutting-edge technologies.
Port of Tyne hosted Day One of the event at their Innovation Hub and the subsequent two days at the BT Tower in London. The event brought together industry pioneers to present and discuss transformative solutions for sustainable and efficient maritime operations.
UniVirtua presented its intelligent bonded multi bearer communications solution – dashAlpha – at the Day Three Innovation in Action session. dashAlpha bonds terrestrial and satellite bearers to deliver seamless, resilient connectivity for maritime environments. Enabling uninterrupted live audio, video communications and data exchange in poor or erratic connectivity environments, dashAlpha enhances vessels operational efficiency and safety. Further, dashAlpha can be utilised to bond with portside private 5G networks to deliver additional bandwidth and resilience, thereby minimising expensive downtime of autonomous vehicles and machinery.
“It was a privilege to join the Port of Tyne and fellow innovators at such an important event,” said John Smith, UniVirtua’s Director of Sales. “The pace of change in the maritime sector is accelerating, and Innovation Week provides a vital forum for sharing ideas that will shape the industry’s future.”
