Professor Damien McDonnell OBE - Chairman (board member)
As Chairman, Damien is responsible for managing the board and ensuring key objectives are met. He is also the public spokesman for the company. As a scientist that holds over 200 patents, Damien is well qualified to oversee and advise on UniVirtua’s patent strategy; and through his associations with the Ministry of Defence and Whitehall he is well placed in promoting UniVirtua's offering, and introducing the company to potential partners and investors interested in new technology. Damien provides UniVirtua with expert scientific and political advice, and is also integral in developing working relationships with UK and Ireland universities and research projects.

Joseph Poole - CEO & Co Founder (board member)
Joseph is the CEO of UniVirtua. His dedication and tenacious approach has ensured that UniVirtua has accrued maximum value with limited funding. Joseph is responsible for setting the strategy and vision for the company, and for building the current team of contributors and advisors. In his managerial role, Joseph has overall responsibility for operations, markets and marketing, PR, financing, sales, human resources, patents, copyrights and trademarks, and ensuring shareholder value. With regards to UniVirtua products he is integral in decisions relating to product design and creation, platform release, and brand identity.

Rohan Beckles - VP Technology & Co Founder (board member)
Rohan is the principle architect and programmer for UniVirtua. Rohan is responsible for product development, testing, technology direction, product integration, prototypes and product demonstrations, engineer team-building, and third-party collaborations and partner programmes. Rohan is also the author of all technical instructions, whitepapers and patents.

John Smith - Sales Director (board member)
John is responsible for UniVirtua’s overall sales strategy. John is responsible for targeting potential customers, prospect qualification, the negotiation of terms of service orders, and finalising contracts that generate revenue. On the operational side, John communicates customer needs to the board and development team, hires and manages the sales team, and manages customer relationships.

Derek Clements - Marketing Director (board member)
Derek has overall responsibility for UniVirtua’s product marketing strategies. Derek is responsible for market position, developing value-based selling materials, ROI analysis, market intelligence, competitive profiling and positioning, definition and product road map input, and identifying customer needs and requirements.

Martin Baker - Communications (board member)
Martin is an active member of the board and provides a key operational support role. Martin is the company's Press Officer, and is also responsible for all documentation and publishing, proofing, and administration of its website and email. In addition, Martin is active in product development, working with Rohan on the graphical user interface artwork and usability of product demos and presentations.

Stuart Sharp - Technical Pre Sales
Stuart supports account managers in identifying the customers needs, scopes the technical requirements of the customer, performs solutions demonstrations, performs chargeable pre-sales consultancy projects to customers, manages the handover of the customer's project to the implementation and support teams, and supports the account manager with informal coaching on solutions hardware and software.
